About the role

  • Development and execution of the Safety Plan a) Tailoring of relevant activities and allocation to roles. b) Ensure all responsible are aware of FuSa relevant resources and capabilities needs. c) Monitor development of all FuSa relevant deliverables of the project. d) Support all responsible with the development of gap closure plans for any kind of FuSa relevant issue. e) Escalate FuSa relevant issues to the regional FuSa leader, if a gap closure plan cannot be defined within the project team.

  • Planning and execution of all required FuSa audits and assessments in alignment with the APTIV GES FuSa Lead Assessor allocated to the project.
  • Development and delivery of Road Release Recommendations as applicable.
  • Maintain weekly FuSa Status Report to support FuSa votes in project gate reviews. Your Background
  • Bachelor degree or above in electrical engineering, software or comparable
  • Familiar with ISO 26262, prefer 2+ years of experience in functional safety for automotive, Strong systems engineering background
  • Proven track on development and implementation of safety concepts
  • Proven track on safety analysis methods (FTA, , )
  • Written and fluent spoken English
