We are seeking Safety Engineers to support the safe development and integration of future combat air capabilities for the next generation of combat aircraft.
You will work closely with systems, software and platform engineering teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting the delivery of safe, certifiable and operationally effective systems.
This role offers an opportunity to influence future combat air capability through the development, integration and optimisation of advanced sensing architectures, supporting delivery across the full engineering lifecycle.

You will work closely with systems, software and platform engineering teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting the delivery of safe, certifiable and operationally effective systems.

Responsibilities
- Support safety assessment activities.
- Develop safety artefacts and engineering evidence.
- Participate in hazard identification activities.
- Support safety case development.
- Contribute to design reviews and governance activities.
- Support certification and assurance activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Produce technical reports and documentation.
- Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related STEM discipline.
- Applications are also welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC).
- Ability to satisfy customer security and export control requirements.
